- Development of Mineral Resource including Granite
- Grant of Licenses and Leases
- Regulating & Monitoring Mining Operations & Activities in the Mineral Sector including Collection of Royalty thereof.
- Negotiations of Mineral Agreement & Consultation with the Federal Government if and when considered necessary by the Mineral Investment Facilitation Authority (MIFA).
- Mineral Exploration for Development of Mineral Resources.
- Take such steps as may be necessary or conducive to the attainment of its objects.
- Serve as secretariat of MIFA.
